Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando®

Loews Royal Pacific Resort ® is one of the three deluxe hotels onsite at Universal Orlando Resort®.

This spring there will be a new hotel, opening in 2014, the Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort®. This will be a moderate/value hotel and will not include the Universal Express Ride Access.

What is Universal Express Ride Access?

The Universal Express Ride Access are special passes that put you in the Express Ride Access line to bypass the regular lines at all participating rides and attractions except Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey®.

They are the best benefit of the hotel. They allow you to wait in a very short line to ride your favorite ride as many times as you want! It is UNLIMITED! You only have to show your card and get back into the line. It was awesome!  Being able to ride favorite rides more than once is incredible!

When arriving at, Loews Royal Pacific®, it did have an Island Paradise feel to it. Almost as if you had flown to one of The South Pacific Islands like Figi. The atmosphere was very friendly. The plants and exterior landscaping was very beautiful like the South Seas. Inside the lobby was an atrium that led outside with a very large fountain. You will have to look at the pictures to believe how big and beautiful it was. Also in the lobby was a Starbucks© coffee station and different kinds of muffins for sale. The pool was a lagoon style with a sandy beach and was very nice looking. There were two gift shops, five restaurants, one being Emeril’s Tchoup Chop®. It is a very large property with several meeting rooms also.

The guest rooms were nice, I loved the view of the roller coasters but, I did miss having a refrigerator in the room. No microwave either. They were an extra $15 each per day. Wifi in the room was another added charge of $9.99 a day, then parking $18 a day. In my opinion, a deluxe hotel should include all of the above items in the daily room charge.

Some of the perks for staying here were:

1. One hour early entry at Islands of Adventure® to see, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter®, before the crowds.

2. Priority seating at restaurants.

3. Unlimited Express Ride Access.

4. Shuttle and Water Taxi transportation to and from, Universal City Walk Orlando®.  Each Hotel has its own Water Taxi. This makes the trip very quick back and forth. It is then just a short walk to either, Universal’s Islands of Adventure® or Universal Studios Florida®.

5. Shopping packages sent from both parks to the INSIDE of your room~~loved this!

The service at this Hotel was impeccable from the whole staff. The front desk, the Bellman’s, Room Service, Concierge, all of the staff members were very friendly. This was a very welcome surprise, which is hard to find anymore when the whole staff is so nice and make you feel like home. I hope to stay again soon at this wonderful resort.
