Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort is a timeshare property located in the Epcot Resort area near Walt Disney World’s® beautiful Caribbean Beach Resort. Although it is not a “Disney” resort it is in the heart of all of the fun. A first class resort with a Mediterranean theming, it’s sprawling facilities include six towers in which the resort rooms are located. The rooms are villa style complete with with kitchens and whirl pool tubs, and a variety of bedroom configurations to choose from to fit the needs of your family. Included as part of the property is a separate Wyndham Grand Hotel which included hotel style rooms and many different restaurants to choose from.
The resort has six pools including a Lazy River and hot tubs. Your kids will love the pirate-themed slide behind Tower Six. You’ll find The Lazy River right beneath Towers One and Five, perfect for when your just want to relax. After a long day in the Park the hot tubs are a perfect way to soothe your tired muscles.
The villas are perfect for a large family and include full kitchens. If you’re traveling with a large group, being able to cook your own breakfast or dinner is certainly a great way to save money along the way! Or better yet, make lunch to take with you to the Parks and really helps to stretch your dollars when you are on a budget. Craving barbecue? Not to worry because the resort also has several gas grills to cook on.
If you like to work out on your vacation the resort has a 24 hour fitness center with all of the latest in exercise and fitness equipment. For the young at heart, the fitness center also has several activities to choose from including the newest games from Xbox and Wii , Ping-Pong tables, Pool tables, and Arcade games. For the kids the resort provides organized activities . With so many fun things to choose from, it’s a great way to spend some down time when you’re ready for some down time.
One of my favorite things is to watch the fireworks from the balcony. “Wishes” and “Illuminations” are visible from some of the rooms in the higher floors and different towers. Fireworks view rooms are available by request when making your reservations. and after all, who doesn’t love to watch the spectacular firework’s shows that Disney offers. If you can’t be in the Parks to see them in person, this is definitely the next best thing.
This resort has a shuttle transportation service to the theme parks as well as to Disney Springs. The cost is $8.00/person round trip. Make sure and pick up a shuttle guide when you check in. If you’ve brought your car, the resort is just a short drive to any of the Parks.
If you’re looking for a top rated resort to call home in the heart of Walt Disney World, on your next visit why not give the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort a try. It’s right in the heart of the magic and first class all the way.
