Tips for for Resting at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park

During a Walt Disney World® Resort vacation, there are many miles of walking involved. I go into several Rides for Resting. I am not as young as I used to be and have a hard time navigating a park from opening to closing anymore. There are many rides in this park I call resting rides. The rides are also air-conditioned. Since the Florida heat can rise into the 90’s air-conditioning is a must! In the winter you might need to warm up or just rest. The Magic Kingdom has so many attractions now it can take two days or more to see it and enjoy. If you go around the park counter-clockwise below are the seven rides I use for resting at The Magic Kingdom.

  1. Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress
  2. Mickey’s PhilharMagic
  3. It’s a Small World
  4. The Hall of Presidents
  5. Country Bear Jamboree
  6. The Enchanted Tiki Room~~Under New Mangement
  7. Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover~~(Some Air-Conditioning)

I love the Magic Kingdom it is my favorite park. It gives me the feeling of coming home any time of the year! It stole my heart on the first visit. I get that warm feeling as soon as I walk down Main Street. I love the smell of the pastries, the sound of the train wheels clacking down the track, the breeze blowing my hair, feeling free from worry just like Walt wanted. It is so joyful just to walk down Main Street USA! When I ride these rides it helps me to keep rested and cooled during the day. I know they are not the Magic Kingdom’s “E” ticket attractions but, it contributes to relaxing along the way. It makes the magic and pixie dust more fun!!
